Founder
Edsel Segovia is a lifelong student of strength and trainer whose passion and deep knowledge have positively impacted the health and outlook of many individuals and clients. With 19 years of in-club personal training experience in North America, South Pacific and Southeast Asia, Edsel's method and approach have not only been developed over time but honed through climate and cultural factors.
For years, he was a Master Instructor for Equinox Fitness on Bay Street in Toronto where he went rigorous training and testing of his technical and practical expertise. In 2017, Edsel took a big step establishing SEGOVIA STRENGTH, a human movement-focused individual training studio located in two prime areas in the Philippines, Greenhills, and Nuvali. In 2022, he co-founded a strength and conditioning facility in Fiji Islands called Valor Athletics, catering to Rugby and Football athletes.
Upon his return to the Philippines, Coach Edsel decided to challenge the status quo once more and decided to build Momentum Fitness, a cutting-edge facility committed to providing the very best in sports science application.
Coach Edsel devotes his time to Momentum Fitness’ day to day operations and currently the strength and conditioning coach for the National Team of Philippine Judo.

Head Coach
Danya Maigue has been a passionate personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and dance teacher since 2013.
Dancing has always been a significant part of her life, and through it, she discovered that exercise was not only essential but also highly enjoyable. Both her love for dance and her appreciation for fitness have profoundly shaped her life choices over the years. In school, Danya's interests in cheerdance, streetdance, and Sports Science laid the foundation for her diverse skill set.
However, it was her subsequent exploration of contemporary dance, jazz, gymnastic strength training, calisthenics, and hand balancing that truly helped her find her niche and flourish as a well-rounded fitness professional.

Renzo Canseco is a personal trainer dedicated to crafting personalized fitness programs that cater to people’s specific goals, fitness level, and lifestyle. He graduated from University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Fitness and Sports Management. His coaching style is enriched with training methods developed from his mentors and practical experience from other gym facilities. Renzo is committed to guiding individuals towards a healthier, stronger and confident person.

Therese Chua is a Cum Laude graduate in Sports Science from the University of Santo Tomas. She has gained hands-on experience as a sports science intern, working with sports teams such as the UST women’s softball and UST men’s table tennis teams, along with providing one-on-one personal training focused on athletic performance, injury prevention, and general fitness. With a lifelong passion for sports, Therese has engaged in various activities, with years of recreational experience in table tennis, a little bit of calisthenics and recreational running, and recently exploring powerlifting. Therese is committed to creating science and evidence based programs tailored to individual fitness goals, and believes in helping people become stronger and more agile, enabling them to move better and enjoy their physical capabilities.

Elin Labaguis is a dedicated personal trainer committed to providing quality service through personalized and tailored programs that align with his clients' unique needs and goals. A recent graduate from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Elin is passionate about sports and actively participates in various activities, including basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton, and table tennis.
During his internship, Elin gained valuable experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children, athletes, individuals with special needs, and seniors. This exposure to different populations and their specific requirements allowed him to refine his coaching skills and deepen his understanding of effective training strategies. Elin’s diverse background equips him to be an adaptable and effective coach, dedicated to helping clients achieve their fitness aspirations.
