Origin Story
Momentum Fitness was founded by Edsel Segovia, a dedicated student of movement and strength. After previously establishing Segovia Strength, a top-tier gym renowned for its ability to produce some of the best athletes in the country, Coach Edsel took a moment to look inwards and reflect on what his next step should be now that he has successfully built a physical space that can facilitate positive change in people’s lives. The result of this introspection was a path-shifting experience designed to elevate both the health industry and the individual well-being journeys of clients.
With a background in IT project management, he has always maintained a keen interest in identifying trends in technology, especially in the fitness and performance space that has the potential to become mainstream. For a significant portion of the past five years, Coach Edsel has been diligently gathering information on cutting-edge, robust, research-grade equipment that has gained traction in the mainstream market. This tireless pursuit of innovation culminated in the establishment of Momentum Fitness, a one-of-a-kind training facility that approaches fitness with objective methods while being reinforced by the valuable experience of training individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds.
